"The idea of the painting came to my mind late at night and I couldn't wait for the morning to find a new canvas. I just covered one of my old paintings and started a new one; 2 layers, 2 paintings, 2 lifes on one canvas."
Manu Harutyunyan graduated from the Yerevan State College of Fine Arts after Phanos Terlemezyan as a painter-educator and earned a degree in Graphics from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. She also studied at the University of Art and Design in Romania.
She had five solo exhibitions: Dialog (Romania), The story of one picture, Jaune, A piece of Sun charity exhibition-sale, and Fatum. Manu has given numerous workshops for youth throughout Europe and Armenia and participated in several group exhibitions.
Manu is also a proactive volunteer, volunteering for Armenian Red Cross Society, Sos Orphanage as a painting teacher, and more.
