Life During Covid-19 Lockdown – View From My Balcony

.png)
"As I was documenting life in Armenia from my balcony during the lockdown of March 2020, I saw my neighbor, a few apartments to my left, looking down his balcony. The expression on his face poignantly captured the mood of the times in a way that I could never express in words."
Nairi Hakhverdi is an emerging writer and filmmaker. Her first feature-length screenplay, The Driver, was selected to participate in EAVE on Demand, GAIFF PRO C2C Market, and the Berlinale Talents Project Market. Her first documentary film, Sweeping Yerevan, which was developed through EurasiaDoc, entered distribution in 2020.
Hakhverdi is currently working on her second feature-length screenplay, Elena Cake, and her second documentary film, View From My Balcony: A Pandemic Diary. The latter was selected to take part in the pitching program of CinéDOC’s New Talents Caucasus in July 2020.
